The Avocent 1U-high LCD17 single-rail rack console provides out-of-band access to KVM switches in SMB data centers and server rooms for convenient access and control of your PCs and PS/2 servers. Out-of-band access to your critical servers is non-intrusive to your network and reduces downtime. The LCD17 single-rail rack console includes an on-screen display (OSD) in multiple languages. The Grade A monitor 17-inch TFT active-matrix supports 1280x1024 resolution @ 60Hz. For the security-conscious user a key lock controls access to the LCD console.
Features • Minimizes use of valuable rack space with 1U design and with universal mounting hardware that allows you to install a KVM switch behind the console and in the same 1U footprint. • Enables viewing of the LCD display even when the rack door is locked. The LCD monitor slides out independently of the keyboard allowing you to tilt the screen away from you or toward you for optimal viewing. • A key lock prevents access to the keypad or LCD trays. • Rack-based access reduces downtime when the network is unavailable. • Enables access and control of multiple servers via new and legacy Avocent KVM switches.
