Product Brief The SL-KXT-150 Cat 5 KVM Extender Set allows KVM extension over Cat 5 up to 150m using standard Cat 5 cabling. By utilizing Cat 5 extension technology, users can very easily extend the KVM control over a longer distance while still keeping a good signal quality across 150m. This is due to the extender's easy to use video adjustment settings found in the OSD (On-Screen-Display). Ideal for exhibition rooms, working floors, security rooms, locked server rooms or other mission-critical scenarios, the KVM extender set allows you to locate your computer physically away from the user.
Built-in 2 Port KVM Switch on the Remote Console The SL-KXT-150 Receiver Unit also has a built-in 2 Port KVM Switch that allows the user to switch between their local computer and the remote computer up to 150m away. The remote user can control the far-end computer via the Cat 5 extender up to 150m away, but can also use the built-in KVM switch to control their own local computer, all from the same console.
Push Button or Hotkeys for Remote Console Access Control The Transmitter Unit provides both a front panel button as well as keyboard hotkeys to configure the remote console access control. In normal mode, the remote console can take full control of the computer. In View-Only mode, the remote console can view only and has no control priveledges. With either the front panel push button or hotkeys, you can easily toggle on/off the View-Only mode on the console of the Receiver Unit.
